Many Moods Of Christmas
If any of you are interested in singing in the Many Moods Of Christmas Concert at Calvary Lutheran Church on Sunday, December 8th, you should contact Kendra Werner at [email protected] and let her know that you are interested. There is a new A Cappella Group in the West Chester Area. It is called SING’APPELLA.
A start up, mixed voice, A Cappella group is looking to add some fun-loving, singing friends. They will be focusing on familiar, popular songs from over the decades. Any Skiers or Snowboarders In The Group?
Bob Zeolla is a member of the Brandywine Valley Ski Association (BVSA), a year round social and multi-sports club dedicated to promoting skiing and related activities. This winter the BVSA is running 2 ski trips for its members and friends. The first is a trip to Salt Lake City at the end of January to ski the multiple resorts in the Cottonwood Canyons. The second is a trip to Austria at the end of February to ski at Kitzbuhel and see (maybe not ski?) the famous Hahnenkamm downhill racecourse! Both trips have available spots for singles as well as couples. Sign up deadlines are November 15. DAR Music Scholarships Available
If you know someone who is pursuing a music degree or will be in the coming academic year, please encourage them to apply for the DAR Marian Anderson Legacy Scholarship and/or the Nellie Love Butcher Music Scholarship.
The DAR Marian Anderson Legacy Scholarship is a $5,000 annual award given to a student pursuing a degree in music performance, theory, composition, or education, and preference is given to students in the Philadelphia metropolitan area. Applications will be accepted 11/1/24-1/31/25.

Christmas Concerts At Westminster
Don’t miss our 100 Voice Concert Choir with chamber orchestra and handbells as they present their 34th Annual Christmas Concerts. Concerts last about one hour.

This year ticket requests will be online only. Tickets are free but are required to avoid overcrowding. There is a limit of 6 tickets per reservation. A $25 donation per ticket is suggested. If groups are interested in more than 6 tickets, please contact the church office. Unused tickets will be released 15 minutes before the program begins.
Unable to attend? You can enjoy the concert by watching the live stream concert at 3 pm on Sunday, December 15. Childcare is available at the afternoon concerts by reservation. Contact Mary Maina at to reserve space for your child(ren).
